Cast:
Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sushmita Sen, Arshad Warsi
Plot
: Salman plays a doctor (!!!) called Samir who's a bit of a Casanova.
Samir has dated a string of women over the years, breaking hearts all over the
place and has a long suffering receptionist/nurse, Naina (Sushmita)
who's secretly in love with him, she has to do a lot of his dirty work for him
where woman are concerned. Samir has a tendency to tell all of his girlfriends
that he is married so they don't try to get too serious with him but his latest
conquest is Sonia (Katrina). He falls hard for her and decides she's the woman
for him. She, though, insists on meeting his wife. He's in a bit of strife now
as he actually has no wife so he asks his ever-loyal employee Naina to act as
his wife, a request that she reluctantly complies with. Pyaare (Sohail Khan) is
Sonia's neighbour who has a huge crush on her and for some really bizarre reason
he calls her "Aunty". Then there's Samir's best friend Vicki (Arshad Warsi) in
there somewhere too who keeps making disgusting sexual advances (but supposedly
played to comic effect) to Naina. Things get complicated (well supposedly…) when
Sonia meets Samir's "wife" who happens to have her 2 nephews with her and Sonia
mistakenly thinks that they are Samir's children. Cue more confusion and now she
wants to meet the kids and bla bla bla… Somewhere along the line Samir's mother
(Bina Kak) arrives in town and she just goes around slapping people who annoy
her (that's just about everyone by the way). She moves the "wife" into Samir's
home with her "grandchildren" and even more absurdity ensues. I could give away
the whole lame plot here just for the heck of it, but I really mustn't do that
must I? |
