Plot
:Rhea gets married to a man chosen by her family, whose name is Sameer. The
marriage does not last long, and ends in a divorce, with Rhea living alone with
her mother. She meets with another man named Karan, and after several
confrontations and misunderstandings she begins to fall in love with him. Rhea
introduces him to her mother, who approves of Karan. When the time comes for the
engagement ceremony, Karan tells her that he only wants to bring some happiness
in her life, had never considered himself a groom. Much to Rhea's shock and
disbelief, he tells her that he would like her to get married to a man named
Mihir, who he feels is good enough to be her new husband.
Both Rhea Rani Mukherjee and Karan Saif Ali Khan meet on a flight from Mumbai to
New York as both are going to study there. On the flight there they meet, talk
however Rhea finds Karan's fresh attitude disengaging and when he kisses her
they part on angry terms. Than they continue to meet over the years including in
New York and when Rhea is getting married. Karan and Rhea's relationship
develops as their meetings continue - will they end up together?
After a failed marriage between Rhea and Sameer, Paris-based Rhea meets with
Karan Kapoor while on a flight from Paris to Bombay, and both are attracted to
each. On her return to France, they meet again, and this time Rhea introduces
Karan to her mom, Parminder Prakash, and Karan, in turn, introduces them to his
dad, Arjun Kapoor. Rhea hopes that Karan will propose to her, as she is in love
with him, only to find out that Karan has been busy looking for a groom for her
- which he has found in his childhood buddy, Mihir Vora. Will Rhea accept this
arrangement?
